Highly optimized for ARM9 and ARM11 processors, the decoder supports VP6, Sorenson Spark and H.264 in a single package thereby enabling handsets to offer high performance support for the video formats used in Adobe(R) Flash(R) Lite(TM) 3 and Flash(R) Player 9 \/ Moviestar. Available off-the-shelf, the Hantro 9100 multi-decoder provides manufacturers and service providers with an immediate and cost effective solution to significantly enhance the Flash video experience in mobile phones and other handheld devices.<\/p>\n

As a result of the optimizations, the Hantro 9100 multi-decoder improves performance by as much as 100% over the reference codec designs, reducing the power required for video playback, saving battery-life and allowing processor resources to be available for developers to deliver the video experience consumers expect.<\/p>\n
