Adobe Flash Platform Summit 2010 India

 Adobe is organizing a two day conference in Bangalore, India on August 25th and 26th. The Adobe Flash Platform Summit will be the great place to update yourself and to learn about their latest technologies and network with other industry professionals.

With 40+ sessions spread over 2 days, the conference promises to be bigger than ever. Day 1 will be focused on RIA development and Day 2 will be focused on RIA design. Apart from the Adobe experts, listen and interact with the vibrant Flash Platform community. Registrations are open and you can pay electronically as well at the website.

Mobile Design India’s first event  focuses on the theme of “Designing for India”
The Indian market is a unique mobile innovation playground and untapped opportunity for anyone wanting to develop mass-market mobile experiences that needs to work across a myriad of languages, operators, income-segments, networks and user needs. Mobile has revolutionized the way people conduct business, get entertained, educated, married, to keeping up with cricket scores.

On one side the Indian masses go for “aspirational” experiences that make them stand out. At the same time the core offering of simplicity, universality and easy access has never been more important than the present, where all pc-based experiences from the developed world are already being leapfrogged by being made available directly on mobile in the places like India.  There are fewer legacies in markets like India. Mobile developers and designers have a wonderful opportunity to push for new behaviours, interactions and experiences.

This group is co-founded by Priya Prakash from Nokia, and she is planning the group’s first event. The event will focus on 4 companies/startups that are crafting mobile user experiences thus taking advantage of the Indian market mobile opportunity and challenges.

Adobe MAX 2008/2009 Cities Announced, again not in India??

Great news!! Adobe MAX 2008/2009 Cities Announced but off course as like as last year or so, again not in India?? Not sure for this reason!! or its not announced yet!!

MAX 2008/2009 will be held in San Francisco, California, Milan, Italy and Tokyo, Japan. MAX is an experience unlike any other, an opportunity to connect with thousands of designers, developers, partners, executives and Adobe staff for education, inspiration, and community.

Few questions if Adobe Max not happening or yet to be announced in India and it will be great if someone from Adobe can give answers:

  • Why no plans for India?, is anything particular?
  • Are we developer/designer are behind the current technologies or current IT scenarios so Adobe don’t think of having a MAX here!!
  • Are we don’t participate in Adobe MAX events. OR is this issue related to money investment? or money per user participation, If Yes!! then why Adobe don’t put a user survey and say how much anyone can pay for??
  • Are great speakers/developers/designers not like to come to India!!

I appreciate if everyone or every Indians can comment here and let’s Join hands to make Adobe to think on MAX event here. Your Views/thoughts/suggestions/ideas anything feel free to write.
